What are they teaching you?

Yesterday, Avery was sitting on the floor singing "Follow the Prophet". I was so impressed that she was getting a lot of the MANY verses correct....until she started singing again and goes, you decide what doesn't fit with the song....

I think she is using a little too much of her reality in her songs:)



also, one of my favorites that she sings to us and makes me feel so good....I guess it goes back to the spanking and sending to the room! ha!

Delaney had her 2 yr well check today. She is 95 % for her height and weight! She is 31 lbs and almost 36 inches tall. She is going to be a tall girl, although she is shorter than Ave was at this age. We are blessed to have two happy and healthy little girls.

Stage Fright?

Not Avery! Avery had to give the scripture in Primary a couple of weeks ago at church. Brian and I went over the scripture several times with her to help her get used to saying it. She was really excited about it. So, that Sunday, I walked in the back of Primary and Brian was standing next to her at the podium. She said her scripture really well and at the end of the scripture she says while holding the microphone....THANK YOU VERY MUCH, AMEN! Just like an entertainer or comedian would do, it was hilarious. Apparently, my child has no stage fright!

Terrific Two's

My baby turned 2 on Saturday! Brian and I can't believe how fast time has flown by. Delaney has been such a joy in our family, she is constantly making us laugh and often times want to pull our hair out!
Delaney could of cared less that it was her birthday, Avery was quite bummed that she wasn't two! It was comical. We went to an indoor kiddie ride park, Jungle Jim's Playland and had pizza and cake! We even got Grandpa on a rollercoaster with the kiddos. (Lacy, send me a photo of that please:)

A few things about Delaney:

She loves her sister! She greets her every morning with a high pitched "Vevry".
She is a snuggler, I am enjoying every snuggle moment I can get!
She loves Shrek! So sad that when we watch Mulan she will call the dragon, donkey because she knows Eddie Murphy is the voice for both!
She is no longer allowed to have crayons due to my walls having drawings all over!
She currently has her diaper taped on because she will not keep it on!
She loves mommy's shoes and dragging them everywhere.
She is a great eater, loves meat and salad and "apes" (grapes)and would eat all day if we let her!
Doesn't like her dad singing and will tell him to "harsh"
Loves singing and doing the motions for "Wheels on the Bus"
Is wearing a 3T pant and top. Wears a size 7 shoe! She is going to be a tall girl!
Loves to help unload the dishwasher, whether we want her help or not!
Loves her mommy and daddy and is always excited to see us!

Happy Birthday sweet girl! We love you!
