Texas Trip Part I

We were very fortunate to have a husband and daddy that stayed at home and worked hard while his girls went on a trip to Texas for a month. My mom flew up a couple of days before we left to Utah to help drive down with me. I could NOT of done it without my mom! My girls had gotten a cold the DAY before we left and with the constant snot rockets out of my girls' noses, it would of taken an extra day for me to get there with all the pulling over and wiping of noses! So, THANK YOU MOM! My brother and his family were originally going to Texas so that my mom could watch their kids while they went to Australia for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, due to travel budget cuts at BYU, the trip was going to be too expensive to go, but they still decided to take a vacation to Texas. I decided to tag along! Over the next couple weeks, I will post pics from our travels.

thank goodness, Ty and Holly let us borrow their old DVD players. It was a life saver until it stopped working the 2nd day! A requirement before we ever take a long road trip again is to buy a dvd player for our car and next car we buy we will have one installed. How did we ever survive all those trips to Utah when we were little without a dvd player? Oh yah, my sisters had pretzels, electric windows, and my hair to keep them busy!!
