Her 2 week stats: weight: 7.9 lbs (55%)
height: 21 1/4 inches (50%)----which doesn't make much sense to me b/c she was 19 1/2 inches at birth...can she really grow 2 inches in 2 weeks??? I think I will have to break out a tape measure for a second opinion.
head circ: 27 cm (75%) big head full of brain:)
She is getting some chub to her cheeks and is more and more alert each day. We are still working on the sleeping at night in her bassinett and not on mommy, she does fine sleeping anywhere during the day but at night its a different story:( Avery is still in love with her baby sister and signs more over and over again to hold and love on her. We are still working on "soft and gentle".
As for me and my recovery, big news my IV is out and I couldn't be more thrilled. After having two different IV's in the last 3 plus days, I have more sympathy for my patients and what they go through when we have to mess with them and their IV's..no fun. I am waiting for the doctor to call back and hopefully will tell me that enough is enough and I am pretty confident that he will, things are SOOO much better and I will still be on oral antibiotics for the next week anyway. If he wants to continue them then the home health nurse will have to come start a new IV:( So send me some well wishes that we done with the IV mess!

Katie..seriously do we wanna go there? She weighs, at 2 weeks old, probably as much as Brent did at 30 weeks gestation... ;)
