Delaney was blessed today in our church by her father. Brian did a wonderful job in giving Delaney a beautiful blessing. She looked beautiful in her little dress, she slept right through it! After her blessing Brian was holding her and she was just smiling up at him (longer than her usual sleepy smile) and it brought tears to my eyes, it was a like she was letting her daddy know how lucky she is to be blessed by her dad! And then immediately after she pooped her pants and of course mommy forgot wet wipes, but luckily another mom in the mothers lounge had wipes I could use. I did not want her to get poop on her all white dress! That would never come out.
We attempted to take some pictures after church today and of course Avery just wanted to run a round in the backyard and Delaney was hungry and Brian apparently couldn't keep his eyes open, so we didn't get a good one of us as a family. Oh well, we will try again another time.
It was a special day and we are blessed to have two beautiful little girls. Who could as for more!

Congratulations!! Thanks for posting on my blog. It's so good to hear from you! You have a beautiful family. I can't believe how similar your girls looked in their blessing dresses. You were on my mind the other day because I don't know if you remember Erica B. from your nursing days... she's moved back to Bryan for a little while and is in our ward now. She's an amazing person and she is so grateful that you introduced her to the church. Do you mind if I give her your blog address?
