Why Bother?

To try and get a family picture? There were at least 10 more pics just like this and worse! Why even try? If you could of only heard Brian trying to get the girls to just look at him at the same time. It was cute.

Friday, Brian and I got to go on a date! I know, it has been a LONG time coming. We haven't been out alone. by ourselves. childless. since Delaney has been born. Brian's boss gave all of his employees tickets to go see Jon Schmidt, a contemporary pianist, in concert. I was quite nervous about it because Delaney STILL does not take a bottle or a pacifier. Grandma said that both girls did great. Why is it that they are always better for the grandparents than for their own parents? I was relieved because we were gone for almost 5 hours. We had a great time and the concert was awesome and the adult company was even better.

We got quite a bit of snow this weekend. It is so beautiful! Avery loves to look out the window and let us know it is snowing (even when it isn't!)

Delaney is starting to crawl and just getting cuter and cuter. She is such a flirt and shows her dimples to everyone she meets.

Avery had her little friend from nursery over this week. He is 3 days younger than her and about a foot shorter! She is so dang tall! They were playing when the little boy hit Ave in the stomach, she cried, apologies and hugs were given. 4 days later though, Avery will come up to one of us and say her stomach hurts and when we asked why, she would tell us that "Miah hit me!" She sure is a drama queen (I wonder where she got that from?) and today in church when she saw him that is the first thing she said! She is never going to let him forget it!
She is on her second antibiotic in the last 5 weeks, another sinus infection. Her pedi told us that it is quite normal for kids her age to have 7-10 colds a year! I was shocked! I can't stand another 5-8 of these. For some reason her colds turn into sinus infections, poor thing. I guess other moms have kids with ear infections but we have kids with lots of snot!
